Heritage Hill

126 College SE
Grand Rapids, MI 49503
(616) 459-8950

Description:

A sprawling historic district in the heart of the city, Heritage Hill has more than 1,300 homes, some dating back to 1848. Heritage Hill is best known for its wide variety of architectural designs, and two of the homes, the Meyer May House built by Frank Lloyd Wright and the Voight House managed by the Public Museum, are open for guided tours. Aside from these two residences, dozens of other homes have unique historical architectural value, and the shaded streets make for a lovely stroll. The district is just southeast of downtown, with the historical society's administrative building sitting just south of the Voight House.
