Working in conjunction with the Grand Rapids Symphony, Opera Grand Rapids brings to the stage three annual performances. Classics such as "Carmen" and "La Boheme" are performed, sung in their original languages with projected English subtitles; the company also brings musical pieces designed specifically for children to classrooms and after-school programs. The major performances are put on at the riverside DeVos Performance Hall in downtown Grand Rapids.
