This place is terrible from start to finish. The bouncers think they are the sh*t, and it's so frustrating. BIGGEST EGOS EVER! I mean, its only MONTE'S, but they seem to think its the greatest club ever. But they seem to think they are Gods gift to man, and they treat you like it. Inside, the music is too loud, and because its relatively small with little ventalation, the smoke is TERRIBLE. I thought I was going to get emphaseema just from being there. The service is alright. Most of the waitresses are hot, which makes the place bearable. I even got to squeeze one of their butts, which was the highlight of the night. A little eye candy never hurt, right? But in general, service is slow and inadequate, and the waitress didnt even seem to know the menu. My advice? Stay away from this wannabe club. Its not worth your time. Its boring, the music is terrible, the service is slow, and the bouncers are, for lack of a better word, azz holes.

Monty's is mini BOB. BORING! Aftershock was the only bar in grand rapids where eveything was excepted and you could relax and have fun. It got a little crazy from time to time BUT we LOVED It!!
