DELICIOUS MEXICAN FOOD

Posted by xoxoman1957 on 3/19/2009

I would like to say that the dinners we had at EL BURRITO LOCO were definitely delicious. I really was not happy to see a $6 charge for the two baskets of chips and salsa for which we did not ask. I figured since we did not ask for them, that like at many Mexican restaurants that they were complimentary !!!! $9.75 for one Long Island Iced tea was quite pricey too. The food prices themselves, as well as the food was quite impressive. Good enough to go back ? --- undecided.

Knapps Corners yes, Grandville no

El Burrito Loco is a chain, and it appears to be take your chances. The one by Knapps Corners is great. Clean, great service, fast, and yummy! I loved the food and we had a great time. I was excited to find out El Burrito Loco was a chain and one was located near me in Grandville. We went recently and it was so different. The service was far different, they don't serve liquor on Sundays, and it left us wishing we had just stayed home and saved our money. I would consider going back to the Knapps Corners location; they had great margaritas, but do yourself a favor and skip Gradville!

taco bell

i know authentic mexican food.i went there for the first time and ordered their beef tacos and never will. i would rather go to taco bell.their shells tasted like store bought, the meat they used is worst than taco bell.it really ruined my taco night!

Not your run of the mill Americanized Mexican food!!

What a pleasant surprise!! We arrived just after opening and asked an exiting couple what they thought of this place. They said it was "great" and "their favorite". I think we found our new favorite as well. The atmosphere is friendly and accommodating. We were there early, but as we ate (and ate, and ate), families began pouring in. The prices --we thought -- were rather high; but, the amount of food and quality of food explained it all. This is not a run-of-the-mill Americanized Mexican food. This is definitely a go to place and much better than the old trieds and trues of Beltline Bar, G'Villa, etc. The food is the best. And, we each had a take-home box. You really cannot beat that.
