This retailer knowing sells sick puppies and kittens to the public - with a health guarantee! Health guarantees from Lily's Puppy Pad are, of course, bogus! There are no refunds; there is no compensation of your vet bills. You just bought yourself a sick pet. Do not give Lily's Puppy Pad your money! The more money they make, the more money they will have to purchase sick puppies and kittens to sell to the public. Do not purchase ANYTHING from them! Put this place out of business!

This puppy store is a puppy mill with a capital P!! I received a pup from this store as a gift and had to return it a week later....not because I wanted to but because it was the only way I could get back SOME of the money I had spent to try to get this pup back to good health. This pup was sold by Lily's even though she had just been taken to the Vet the same day she was sold, and they treated her for parasites. NEVER was it mentioned to my husband who purchased her and it wasn't until she became very ill did I investigate and see on the health record the vet indicated a dose of medicine was give...and I know that med is used for intestinal parasites. Worse yet, we discovered she had the type of parasites that are not only harmful to the pup, but also very contagious to humans!! (Tapeworm) Again, it was NEVER mentioned when she was sold to my husband. When we first contacted the store about the worms we were told to come down to pick up another dose of wormer. I went to pick up this dose and talked to the very young woman who apparently owns the mother of this pup. She gave me a dose of wormer which I knew to be way to much for pup we owned. (I use to work for a Vet) Our pup was 9 pounds, the dose given was for a 20 pound dog) Had I given it to her she would have become sicker then she already was. The pup was taken to the vet on 3 separate occasions and wound up needing emergency surgery as she was a very sick little girl. The only option we were given was to return the dog for a refund but they would not pay for any of the vet bills, which were over $700. When I spoke ot our vet "off the record" I was told that all pups they see come from this store are sick in some way. They only care about making money, not the health of the animals. I am supporter of local humane societys and this exerience made my husband a believer too! My children was so upset after this experience too. We had unfortunately lost two other dogs in the past 6 months to Cancer and to loose another one, well it was a huge emotional toll. My advice is to save yourself the headache and the money, go to the Humane Society!

We bought a "miniature dachshund" about three weeks ago. When I took it to the vet they said it had some sort of other breed mixed with it. So far we have discovered it has fleas, a tapeworm, and an intestinal parasite. I feel like I was ripped off. I paid $600 for a dog that is not the kind of dog I thought I was getting. Now I don't even know what kind of dog I own.

We paid $700 for an AKC Papillon in December. There is absolutely no way the dog we got is pure bred. I have taken her to two vets who have said she is more Jack Russel than Papillon but Lily's will not do anything about it. For those of you who don't know what a Papillon is, it is a small dog that is supposed to get between 3-10 lbs. Our Papillon is 9 months old and already weighs 18 lbs. I spoke with Jay who admitted she doesn't look right and says he is going to look into it but then never calls back. The dog also has a heart murmur which is something some dogs are born with. I spoke to Jay about this as well and he says since we have had her over 14 days he won't do anything about that either. We absolutely love the dog but are quite upset we spent so much money for the AKC certificate when the dog we got is not pure bred.
