Generally, diagnostic x-ray pictures will be taken which are a valuable adjunct for this evaluation. We will not perform any treatment at this visit. However, your child will receive a toothbrush kit and be shown how to use it. Don't let the name fool you, Dr. Payne made taking my son to the dentist a pain-free experience. My son used to be mortified of the dentist (but then again, who isn't?) Dr. Payne and staff have miraculously changed his outlook. I'm not sure how they did it, but I'm eternally grateful.
