We take pride and careful attention to the quality of our food and with the dedication of our whole family, it has taken Salvatore's a step up...and in 1986 a few steps over, to the present location. And with my family's addition including my brother's wife Frances and their two sons Salvatore and Gabriel, my wife Barbara and our son Emmanuel, here is where my family mixes tradtion...the old and new.

My husband and I love Salvatore's. The taste of Grand Rapids pizza is great and a really "Italian" style pizza. we dine there and get carry out frequently and have never had a bad experience!!

We have often dined at Salvatores. The last time we got bread sticks that had been kept warm under a heat lamp; they were hard and unappetizing. Tonight we invited friends to join us there. We specifically requested that the bread sticks be freshly baked. Otherwise we did not wish to order them. Our server, Bella, said this would not be a problem. After about 20 minutes Bella brought us bread sticks that she assured us were right out of the oven. The bread was hard and certainly not fresh. When we brought this to Bella's attention, she apologized and said that she had written 'fresh' on the order ticket. In addition, my normally tasty pasta dish was cold. Since this was the second time we have had this experience, we will not be returning to Salvatores in the future.

We eat at Salvatore's alot. It's my favorite restaurant. I've never had a bad meal. The service is terrible. We usually have to wait 5-10 minutes to be noticed. Need more waitresses.

I have to say, the food is the best. The spaghetti sauce is sweet and delicious, not bland like most others. I've been informed that the sauce is homemade. Decided to go for soup instead of salad. Good choice! This homemade chicken noodle warmed me right up. And so delicious. The service is so good. Very down to earth staff. Not afraid to share a laugh or two with you. Love the little old lady and man,(owners) in and out of the kitchen... speaking their native language; smiles on there faces, greeting and chatting with the guests. This place is truly a gem. Somewhere you can relax, forget about the troubles of the day, and feel like you are being taken care of, instead of just served.

Feel here at home when we first walked through the doors of this charming family owned restaraunt! My daughter and I were passing by on 4th and stocking and decided to stop for a bite to eat~ we hade their 'Brucetta' pizza with grilled chicken and freash spinach (from which, the waitress said the spinach was grown in their garden out back...=) ) it was absolutley bursting with flavor~ Good form folks! my extended family, as well as my self will be back!!
