As a customer at Studio One I would have to strongly disagree with the comments made. I also signed up for the 12 month package and have kept it since 2004. For one its a great deal and they just make me feel so at home and welcome. When signing up for my package I was made well aware of the cancellation policy. Making sure I knew I could not cancel until I paid for the full 12 months and that if I wanted to cancel right at 12 months I would need a sign a cancelation form during the 11th month. In reality the problem with your debit card is entirely your responsibility. Why should they have to keep track of when your card expires? They would have to do it for hundreds of accounts. You are sent a letter in the mail and a new card when your card expires, so whatever expenses you knew you were charging to that account you should have called immediatly when you recieved your new card and number. That is exactly what I did with mine and I havent had any problems. I doubt that any employee of Studio One would have been rude or unfriendly in any way. As a business owner myself, its imporatnt to know that yes business should be about the customer, but how do you maintain a business if money is not equally considered. And as a response to the other crazy reviews about the employee's being flirtacious and only nice to men, that is simply not true. I am 45 years old, a women no less and I have never felt or witnessed any sense of discrimination towards women, or a lust towards men. The girls that work there are happily married with children, in serious relationships, or they are still in high school. I suggest you get your facts straight before you begin bashing a salon in which you obviously know nothing about.

My wife signed up for 12 month tanning deal where they would withdraw 16 dollars every month from our bank account. Bad decision. My debit card expired and they weren't able to charge us so they didn't notify us or anything. When my wife attempted to go sun tanning they said we were late with the payments and we gave them the new debit card number. They charged us the late fee without asking or telling us they will do so. Now, we tried canceling it but they said they are supposed to charge us in three days and the bank cannot cancel it before 30 days passes by. So they will charge us for next 33 days even tough she won't be using the services. It's what we signed they said. Well thank you studio 1 for your business and I guess it's not about customers it's about the money after all.

I haven't been able to find a good hair salon since moving to the area. I tried out Studio 1 because they sent me a gift certificate - great! My reception at the door wasn't particularly warm, however. They greeted me but did not seem happy that I was there, or happy that they were working, whichever comes first. I don't remember the name of the girl who cut my hair - she was nice enough, but didn't really listen to what I wanted and I really didn't like how she styled my hair at the end. I thought the place was overpriced for the end result. It is a very nice atmosphere on the inside, however.
